With the failing of Prohibition, most would think that any political party would tread lightly when declaring war on an industry, but the Democrats shall never learn that lesson.  They are much higher and mightier than thou.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the state of Maine, the Democrats have attacked the wood and paper mill companies for years upon years.  The State Congress has passed legislature making it more expensive to operate by increasing restrictions and taxes on harvesting wood, processing wood, and shipping of goods.  The loyal Democrat constituents, and their unions, joined the cause and rallied against their supposed evil employers only to experience layoffs and loss of benefits due to the employers suddenly spending obscene amounts of money just to operate.  How could these idiots not realize that these were their bosses and without them there would be no livelihood?  Now, with many people unemployed and unskilled for other positions, they still blame the mills for their own stupidity.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For those individuals unfamiliar with the state of Maine, everything from Bangor south on I-95 has a decent chance of attracting outside income through tourism and business, but everything north and not along I-95 do not attract much outside business, meaning their total income is very, very low.  Many guides operate in these low-resident, low-income areas and bring in a great deal of income because of their clients, that’s money not from Maine being spent in Maine.  Without this additional income, the small towns would struggle further.  Recently, the state of Maine pushed to pass laws that would restrict Maine guides from being able to bait black bear.  The black bear populates the state in very high numbers and many of the left-wing loonies complain about their city neighborhoods being overrun by these nuisances, and the guides make much of their yearly income from bear hunts over baits, restricting the proclaimed nuisance.  The Democrats in Maine have made it clear that they will make every effort to restrict any livelihood and independence of those who reside outside of the I-95 corridor, if they aren’t being prejudice against certain people then I don’t know what is happening.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Everyone is well aware of the efforts from the Left to restrict firearm manufacturers and owners, but it wasn’t until recently that I was educated on the origin of this attack on guns.  It was Rick, Master Guide at Mountain View Drifter informed me that at the end of Prohibition the large taskforce used to combat illegal alcohol distribution was sitting stagnant with nothing to do.  I’m sure the kids today aren’t learning anything about Prohibition, but for those educated like myself (thanks to the History Channel), it is clear that if Prohibition never existed, the escalated mobster gun violence associated with it would have never been tasted on the streets of our country.  The violence did occur because of irresponsible legislature, much the same as we see passed today, but instead of arresting and charging the criminals who commit crimes with guns, legislators and law enforcement agents target all gun owners.  The blind perspective that by removing guns from our society would generate a safer environment for everyone is quite impossible.  Honest people don’t use guns to commit crimes, criminals do, and they if they don’t have a gun, they will still commit the crime.  But like I previously mentioned, without an Industry to attack, a Democrat couldn’t sleep at night.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The cigarette companies are another of the Lefts mortal enemies, because of the possible dangers inherent in smoking tobacco.  The Left feel they should have the power to determine that smoking should be illegal and outlawed in our country because of its links to causing cancer.  What bothers me, as a smoker, is not the fact that someone is telling me I shouldn’t be able to smoke a cigarette, its that they are telling me I shouldn’t be able to have the freedom to choose whether or not to smoke.  If the Left can determine one way to control your decision-making abilities, the process will never end, and they will be telling you how to live every aspect of your life.  If you want to look at things being dangerous, let’s take a look at my favorite sport, NASCAR.  Since racing is dangerous, the Left will eventually move to strike them from existence, and then where would an entire culture of people look to for inspiration, tennis? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The monster industry, which many Americans grumble about daily, has been under attack for years and years and fight has increased drastically in recent years.  Oil Companies have been raising prices faster than anyone could have thought possible, and generating record profits.  To paint the full picture, it needs to be understood that the oil prices are high because of the decrease in the value of the dollar and the increased demand throughout the world.  The oil companies can’t control the price per barrel, but they could reduce the price at the pump.  With attacks from the Left and forcible legislation attempting to expel the use of oil and gasoline, what would you expect of these companies.  The Democrats are trying to run them out of business and they can’t claim it’s because of their prices, because if that were the case, we would be drilling our own oil reserves.  Oil Companies are the enemy, and people won’t be able rest until they are removed from our way of existence.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanks to the wasted hard-earned American taxpayers money, federal politicians have recently began their war against professional baseball as a way to vent some frustration.  Millions of dollars and hours upon hours were spent attacking professional baseball players instead of fixing the real issues within our country, such as entitlement programs.  Nobody really cares to watch Congressional hearings with Roger Clemens accused of being a liar.  We love our professional sports in this country and the leagues themselves should be the only ones worried about what happen drug-related within their midst.  With all of the other enemies to combat, why combat baseball, if they want something new to attack they should try going after guys who wear pink.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Getting back to Democrats deciding what we can and can’t do, the Fast-Food industry is now under attack and being blamed for the raising number of obese Americans.  Did Burger King force anyone to come into the restaurant?  Did fast-food employees force anyone to get the large fry instead of the small?  Like I said, once you open a door for people to restrict what we can do, they don’t know when to stop.  If legislature is passed that makes operating more expensive or inconvenient for these businesses, we’ll be paying for it through our wallets and all of the young high school and college students working for them will never see a pay raise.  There are negative consequences to every action, people need to learn, and there is no such thing as a perfect world. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I won’t dive into the misguided attacks on the healthcare industry or Financial Institutions because they will require pages of details.  I would however like to discuss the attacks on Free Trade.  Bill and Hillary pushed hard to get NAFTA passed because of the unlimited potential it held, and now the Democrats seem to hate the thought of free trade.  The Speaker of the House Pelosi has shot down the Columbian Trade Agreement, and many Democrats feel that free trade is the cause of our job losses throughout the country.  So now that we won’t have free trade with Columbia, we will have American goods taxed at a ridiculous rate, and Columbian goods won’t be taxed when they come into our country.  That just doesn’t seem to make any sense to me and if we lowered our taxes, we might just be able to get our jobs to stick around.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I did have one person argue with me recently, that Republicans also fight major industries, like abortion clinics.  This is true, most strong conservatives believe abortion to be wrong because it is the murder of an unborn child, but I wouldn’t refer to abortion as an attack on an industry, its more of a moral or religious belief.  Besides abortion, there are many things that Republicans attack, and the most significant one is unnecessary spending.  But each party has a way of fighting its battles, but the Left has a proven track record for taking away an individual’s right to chose.  To allow this type of prejudice targeting of specific industries is an injustice we will all feel the repercussions of.  If people decide they know what is best for everyone, and have unrestricted power to prohibit liberty, what is next on their targeting agenda? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is time to put an end to this madness.  If people want to do something that doesn’t directly danger others, then let them do so. The comments regarding our military not being capable of withstanding two major wars at once I actually agree with, my reasoning however; is much different than the jargon from the Left and I feel we should have been able to maintain both wars had the military been kept up, rather than downsized and horribly under-funded by the Clinton Administration.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Unlike the majority of the people who speculate on the subject, I have actual first-hand knowledge of the impact on the United States Army due to the Clinton Administration’s cutbacks.  Throughout my time served in the Army (ten years worth), I witnessed the great fighting force develop into an entirely different monster, some changes have been good, but most have been disastrous.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At the onset of my career, under the Clinton Administration in 1997, I began to see a major shift and the loss of excellent leadership within the middle ranks.  Noncommissioned officers with vital experience and management capabilities were being given the option to retire prior to their 20 year mark, and many of the lower levels soldiers, with the potential to become excellent leaders, were leaving due to constant deployments and minimal wages.  Many today cannot understand the impact this had on today’s fighting force, but for those who experienced the change, the impact is clear. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanks to President Clinton, the military lost funding to continue advancements in technology, excellent and necessary experienced personnel, and the ability to complete mission essential tasks all while suffering multiple deployments and receiving no pay increases.  Try to imagine these actions being taken from a corporation standpoint, if Microsoft stopped financing future technology development programs, fired half of their mid-level managers, and restricted pay increases while demanding the same quality of results from employees, what would happen?  More than likely, the company would loose ground against competitors, watch as their best employees walk out, and the company might even cease to exist.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;While President Bush has served in the White House, he has been forced to reverse Bill Clinton’s total disregard for military members, and attempt to improve our military to its full capabilities.  Thanks to the current great leader of our nation, American soldiers have consistently received pay raises to improve the quality of life within the military family, military units have received much-required funds to sustain government equipment, and advancements in technology that could have occurred years ago are now being made. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The unfortunate and long-term effects from the Clinton Administration may never be corrected.  Due to the drastic cutbacks in personnel military recruiter standards have drastically declined and the quality of soldier entering into service today is much poorer than ten years ago.  To meet the rising demands for personnel in the current War on Terror, the ability to discharge individuals from service who are unable to either comply with military standards or are unfit for service, has become impossible.  Today’s military has a growing numbers of soldiers who should have never been allowed entry into the service and are quite simply there for a paycheck.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since most Americans are greatly concerned with money being spent by the Federal government, we should look at the required increases in cost to recruit and reenlist soldiers in our military.  Instead of people serving their country because of their patriotism, we are now forced to advertise and deceive people to enter the military, and supply existing members large sums of money to persuade them to reenlist.  The Clinton Administration assumed wrong when they determined there to be no enemy left to fight after the fall of Communist Russia, and our United States Military is the one who has suffered the permanent effects.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In my last few years of service, I did witness many changes for the better, and am quite please to see the military finally developing new tactics and not training to fight another Vietnam style war.  It shouldn’t have required the War on Terror to cause these changes and had the military received proper funding and guidance from their Commander in Chief, we may have been ready for this war before the end of the Clinton Administration.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today there is rising concerns with the wars on two fronts and many have speculated that the lengthy and numerous deployments would critically wound our nation’s military force.  It was expected that each branch of service would find it difficult, more likely impossible, to meet reenlistment goals necessary to field an experienced and efficient fighting force.  Recently, however, top military officials have released news of not only reaching their targeted goals, but surpassed them. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have no actual knowledge of all branches of service, but I am very familiar with the Army, and what they aren’t telling you is certainly the most important information.  Yes, the fighting of the wars on two fronts is having an effect on reenlistment, but the Army is able to reach their goals through their stop-loss program.  Units are only being allotted around 12 months of stabilization after returning home from an overseas assignment and if your service doesn’t end within the first seven months, you’re deploying again whether you reenlist or not.  In order to reap the full benefits out of the ordeal, soldiers are using common sense and reenlisting, at least this way they can receive their much-deserved bonuses.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Army has also limited the number of soldiers being relocated to different installations without actually receiving that installation in a reenlistment contract.  If a soldier wants to leave their unit and go to a different unit with less or no deployments, they have to reenlist for that assignment.  In past years, as a leader of troops, all I had to do was pick up the phone and call the person in charge of assignments for my job specialty and give my recommendation for a soldier to transfer, and I did just that many times.  Over my last two years in the Army, I tried this method time and time again, which I had used so many times the past, but now find myself talking to someone telling me “the only way anyone is leaving the unit is through reenlistment.”  Quite simply, the Army has limited the soldier’s options, they can stay in the unit and continue to re-deploy, or they can reenlist.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am a supporter of the War on Terror and believe that once the United States engages its military in a conflict, it should complete the task, regardless of the cost.  To give up and bring our service members home would make the past years a complete waste of time, lives, and money, with American once again receiving a fatal blow in its reputation around the world.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If people are looking for someone to blame for the current state of things within our military, Bill Clinton and his wife are best fit to wear the bulls-eye than President Bush. I feel the need of a new government department, however; called the Boohoo Department of Liberty Defense, with subordinate departments at the state level. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The purpose of this much-needed department is quite simple; to address the many Americans concerns throughout the country regarding the restriction of an individual’s liberties.  With the rising number of influences within our society, many of the special interest groups are pushing for legislature that will restrict an individual’s personal liberties and freedoms, but with this new department, simple emails or letters would notify these individuals and groups that their efforts are unconstitutional or are viewed as being prejudice against certain citizens.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The department would begin its efforts by filtering all emails to government politicians and provide necessary input to all government representatives concerning their actions and how they restrict the rights of legal American citizens.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Letter/Email response format:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are honored to inform you that your proposed action or view restricts the individual liberties of legal American citizens.  Through passing legislation governed by your concerns, American politicians would be eliminating the right to freedom within our great country.  Because of your individual freedoms, we are proud to inform you of the right to keep and cherish these views, but to please not forcefully emplace them upon others against their will. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Your proposed views or actions are unconstitutional for the following reasons:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.&lt;br /&gt;2.&lt;br /&gt;3.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Thank you for your support and concern.  In the future we would ask that, when addressing issues, you consider whether or not your proposals or suggestions would inhibit another American’s rights.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To further explain the importance of such a new department, the following are some current issues that could be addressed easily to defend the rights of Americans:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Helpful American Citizen #1:  I despise smoking in restaurants.  In some places around the country, laws have been passed forcing all restaurants to provide a “smoke-free” environment and I think Congress should make it that way for the entire country.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Boohoo responds:  This is an excellent topic for us here at the Boohoo.  By passing a law that forces business owners to reject smoking in their establishment, it removes that owner’s right to operate their business in the manner they choose. We currently find there to be no law forcing you or your family to enter into these establishments which means that if the owner of the business chooses to have a smoking section, you could go elsewhere to eat.  We are currently putting forth strong efforts to remove any laws restricting business owners in such a manner, thank you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Helpful American Citizen #2:  Affirmative action is not enough for the progression of minorities in America.  We need to create more programs that provide specialized training to minorities in the low-income bracket.  Without new programs, we minorities will never succeed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Boohoo responds:  This is an excellent topic for us here at the Boohoo.  Affirmative action is currently under review here with our top officials within the department because of its clearly prejudice view.  No group should be given any advantages over another because it is seen a prejudice on the part of the government, and by creating such advantages, the government is encouraging racial and ethnic dissention, topped with anger.  We have concluded that these programs you suggest are an excellent idea but only if implemented with no restrictions for those seeking its rewards.  If all are allowed entry into this program, great good could result, thank you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Helpful American Citizen #3:  Researchers have shown that most of the inner-city schools with larger populations of minority groups have much lower test scores suggesting poorer education.  It is time for more money to be given to these schools so they can turn this around and generate a better education system.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Boohoo responds:  This is an excellent topic for us here at the Boohoo.  We have found that providing additional income to schools with poor test scores, regardless of minority percentage, would be unfair to the other schools who provide actual passing grades.  The schools may require new leaders or teachers, but we feel that most of the responsibility falls on the lack of education enforcement within the home.  The government should maintain a fair and unbiased support to all schools regardless of their test scores, thank you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Helpful American Citizen #4:  Abortion is murder and laws need to be passed making it illegal to get an abortion.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Boohoo responds:  This is an excellent topic for us here at the Boohoo.  We have concluded that abortion is murder, but a woman still maintains the right to choose what happens to her own body.  Instead of attacking those who conduct and undergo these procedures, we are focusing more on how to prevent them and suggest you to do the same. I’ve decided to take the opportunity to voice my own opinion on the most important issue for the election, and that is freedom.  Who of the three candidates is going to be a broadcaster and defender of freedom to American citizens, if not around the world?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Freedom can be defined as “the state of being free of restraints” or “exemption from unpleasant onerous conditions” and much more, according to Webster’s Dictionary.  With our country being built on the foundation of freedom, “the land of the free,” I am forced to wonder where government control falls into the definition of freedom.  If we are to continue passing prejudiced legislation that targets individual groups, whether to benefit or harm, we disrupt and pollute the entire definition of freedom and should remove freedom from our &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_spangled_banner"&gt;National Anthem&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On the issue of our unstable economy, if we allow Congress to gain more power (limiting freedom) over financial matters, remembering that very few of them have any understanding of business, our entire financial system would see reform almost immediately.  Whenever Congress attains more power over any issue, the first action taken is to overreact, while securing permanent government control.  I’m not saying our economy would fail entirely, but with more control by people with little knowledge of business or economics, it would need to restructure itself to survive the continued “peeking” (they call it oversight) by politicians.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The freedom of choice concerning healthcare has been a personal preference for many people over the years.  If a family doesn’t find their current healthcare sufficient or adequate, they go in search of a better company, provider, or program, until they find the most adequate care.  If a program is created by the government that creates a streamlined and “standard” healthcare system that all Americans are forced to enter, we not only lose our ability to choose as free citizens, but the choices would be limited and the care would be consistently low.  Quite simply, a family would not be able to go in search of better care or a program that perfectly fits their family’s needs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When government laws required all drivers to have automobile insurance in order to legally drive on public roadways, the price of insurance increased and the cost of living for the average American citizen rose dramatically.  This is a product of supply and demand, with so many uninsured motorists needing to suddenly gain insurance; the insurance companies could raise prices, leaving motorists with much higher monthly living costs.  I’m not saying auto insurance isn’t necessary, but if the government forces all individuals to have health insurance, we will see a raise in prices because we live in a free market society even if the government tries to restrict costs.  Eventually, the price of auto insurance decreased slightly, due to a rise in competition, but hasn’t reduced to the levels prior to government intervention.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The most important issue for the up-and-coming Presidential Election is freedom, not abortion, the environment, or increasing benefits to improve the quality of life for targeted minority groups. There are just as many prominent scientists who disbelieve in the theory, as there are those who believe, yet Democrats continue to pass legislation forcing Americans to pay more for oil and gas. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today, the House Select Energy Committee met with representatives from the major oil companies in a supposed effort to reduce the cost of oil and gas, and also determine the appropriate actions Congress should make towards our country’s future energy needs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Left once again made proud claims towards the United States becoming self-reliant for energy needs in the form of natural gases and other clean products, many of which have not become heavily manufactured and tested to be cost-effective but have managed to force up the costs of food in our grocery stores.  One mentally challenged Leftist had the nerve to ask of an oil company representative, “It is projected that if our emissions are not reduced 80% by the year 2050, the world will suffer cataclysmic disaster, do you agree?”  The answer is going to be no, you nimwit, and for obvious reasons.  A computer-generated projection of global warming was created by people who actually believe in global warming.  In this projection, did the computer somehow input the millions of details that are unknown to humans about the functions of the world and its atmosphere, or did people who don’t know of them input those?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Left focused intently on the profits earned by the oil companies and demanded that they increase their funding of new energy sources, making it their responsibility to maintain the energy needs of the country.  How can anyone blame the oil companies for us becoming dependent on oil to begin with?  It isn’t their fault that oil was the most efficient and successful way for our country to prosper, why hold them responsible for our country’s future?  What makes Democrats so sure that Americans won’t develop other, more efficient means of energy without the oil companies’ assistance and move to those means without being forced by legislation?  I must have forgotten that Americans would be nothing were it not for our elected officers in Congress, for we are just little lemmings without free and clear thinking abilities.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Throughout their entire inquisition, the Left made it perfectly clear of their intent to raise taxes and increase legislation against the oil companies, which means much higher prices for all of us thanks to them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Those on the Right continue to hold their ground with proposals of drilling on American owned grounds being the quickest and easiest way to become energy independent.  While using up our own untapped oil reserves we would without a doubt managed to create replacing technologies that all Americans would be satisfied with.  The oil companies were actually complimented by some Republicans for the efforts they have made towards alternative fuels without being forced to do so by the Left. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These fairytales and fiction are driving prices in our country up and dropping the value of the dollar to virtually nothing by the day.  Americans don’t need legislature passed to improve our quality of life, we need legislature to be reversed so we can learn to know what it means to be free again.  Any person who believes we will need legislation forcing people off of oil and gas products once there is an adequate and cheaper means made available, needs to be put out to pasture.  The truth will always be that we will rely on what we know until something is made cheaper.  The Democrats would force all Americans to stop using oil today if not for Republicans and the costs of transportation, living, and food would all rise drastically. A simple discussion with a hint of politics within it could easily escalate to a dangerously heated argument because of a difference in viewpoint.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When asked where they stand on politics, most will answer that they are on the right or left and today there is a fast growing population that claims to be in the middle. It is rather hard to understand how someone could be in the middle of two completely opposite views who support differing moral values, principles, and even the definition and purpose of our country.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In an attempt to break this down so someone like myself could understand, I’ll use a passage all Americans should know.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;“All men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Right believe “created equal” to mean that all men are equal upon their creation only. From birth, a person makes decisions, good and bad, and those actions are what will define the individual. Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness will be granted as long as the individual’s actions do not hinder those rights. From the Right, there should be no excessive legislature from Federal or State governments restricting the Rights of individuals who have done no wrong.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Left sees the term “Created Equal” quite differently and believes it to mean that two men standing side by side are “equal” regardless of their actions, and deserve the same lifestyle. Complete government control is necessary in order to provide Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, because everyone is forced to live the exact same lifestyle. The government chooses what will make Americans happiest, and provide that to everyone, no individual should have to “pursue” it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I’ve pulled together three different situations where Left and Right see things completely different.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Situation 1&lt;br /&gt;A jury of his peers convicts a man who led a twelve-year life of crime of a vicious double-murder. Upon arriving in prison, he repents his sins and attends religious services while openly apologizing for his crimes and claims remorse.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Left views this man has having changed and deserving of a second chance. While he waits for his parole board hearing, the left will use taxpayer dollars to provide him with an education that will help him when returning to society.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Right believes that regardless of his remorse, there is a price to pay for acts of evil and providing an education is not the price charged to good, law-abiding citizens. The community does not forgive a person’s sins just because they “claim” remorse, if they have changed then can serve their “full” prison sentence and show the world this change through actions upon their release.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Situation 2&lt;br /&gt;A politician who is an excellent speaker with the ability to talk to all individuals at the same time is running for President of the United States. His spoken goal is to unite the country behind him and win the White House. While campaigning, it is learned that he has been a member of a church for 20 years that inspires racial and cultural hatred.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Right take on this is simple, if he continued to attend an establishment inspiring such hatred, then he himself is a racist. Any person who isn’t a racist, would have quickly been offended by ten seconds of this nonsense and left the establishment, it wouldn’t take 20 years.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Left believes all of his rhetoric and speeches of unifying the country. Because he has never been recorded speaking the same racial hatred, he can’t be held responsible for the minister’s sermons. This blind following and ignorance is inspiring. Does this mean they would vote for a person who attended KKK establishments for 20 years but is not an actual member.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Situation 3&lt;br /&gt;An American soldier who has served with distinction for 15 years goes to Iraq and kills an innocent civilian while returning fire at enemy forces. He apologizes for the accident but doesn’t openly display remorse or guilt.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Right responds, “That’s too bad, its war, now get back to work.” Things are different during war and we have to fully support our troops who face challenges while defending the name of freedom.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Left would like to see this man, regardless of his service and sacrifice for our country, to be tried for murder because he shows no remorse. He is a killer and should be put in jail, and President Bush is to blame for the soldier being put in a situation where he could commit such a murder.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The truth is obvious, a criminal is not equal to a nun, the same way that hard working individuals are not equal to the lazy, and a prominent doctor should make much more money than a tenth-grade dropout. We are not equal because we are a product of our actions from birth. We were all born equal, but on day two, we all began to follow our own lives. I’m disgusted at the thought of being considered equal to a non-veteran who protests the war in Iraq.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With the Left working to “equalize” the playing field by giving the lazy, unmotivated, and corrupt the leg up on everyone else, it will only be so long before they pass legislature forcing the NFL to recruit unskilled athletes because it is wrong to be prejudice and only recruit the best of the best. Then again, if you pay attention to the fact that work is never actually accomplished; you would have been anticipating what transpired today.  The left managed to raise the smoke and mirrors to further their absolute control over the workings of all Americans while failing to accept any blame for the current ill affects on the economy. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Both the Right and Left agree that our country needs to remove its dependability upon foreign oil, but the way to do so is far from close.  The Left managed to blame President Bush, this being the one-billionth time, for making our country more dependent on foreign oil and they proposed to stop importing oil and further their efforts to use new technologies.  If we do what they propose, Americans would be forced to buy new cars, new forms of heating their houses, and anything else that relies on this foreign oil.  The plan is just to force us off oil without a sufficient replacement. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Right battles back with the common sense way to stop using foreign oil, by using our own oil.  The Left refuses to allow for drilling our own large supplies that would last for at least 35 years, by that time we could have an affordable tried and tested replacement which would probably already be widely used. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;How the Left can actually accuse the President for us being more dependent on foreign oil and they are the ones refusing to allow us to produce our own truly amazes me.  Can you see the smoke and mirrors?  The Democrats must have unlimited investments in these new technologies they plan to replace oil consumers with.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If the Left really wanted to eliminate dependence on foreign oil and allow for the billions of dollars to be spent within our own economy, they would have already allowed for us to drill.  The truth, they don’t care about the lower income, middle income, or anyone.  Someday, probably after the Armed Right rises, the mentally challenged Left supporters will wake up.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tomorrow is planned to be a day I will never forget, with the planned discussions over proposals to overcome the Mortgage crisis.  If you are unaware of the crisis, it involves a small percentage of the country that willingly signed into a mortgage contract they couldn’t pay for and the Left believes all of the responsible citizens should pay their debts for them.  Sounds like fun doesn’t it?  If the Left passes any relief for these people, anyone who doesn’t stop paying on their houses is quite stupid.  The only way for us to fix these damn liberals is to stoop to their levels.  If they want to provide aid to people who don’t pay their mortgage, everyone needs to stop paying.  Within a few months the Democrats would open their eyes and realize that they are just a bunch of frigging morons.  The Right would never stoop to my proposal but many people will, because it is offered.  If they want to remove responsibility from the individual, then remove yourselves from being responsible.  I don’t know what proposal will actually pass, but if there is room to wiggle for all Americans, then now is the time to destroy the idiocy of the Left.  Yes, we would destroy the Federal Budget worse than the Left has already done, but it is in an effort to defeat our retarded enemy. Talk about an insert foot to mouth situation, they never seem to realize the fact that they are preaching Communist views, not Democratic.  Here are the top three Democrats and some of their Red views.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, is now pushing for a Windfall Tax that would affect all retirement accounts, not just the rich.  Her remarks on this subject are disturbing:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;“We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest.” &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;“We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities.  For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities.  Stock market windfall profits could go a long ways to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as ‘Americans’.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Whatever you say “Lady Red” I’m not buying it.  It could be that I see the word Illegal and wonder why in the hell we would care what happens to those people, they are here in our country sucking bucks from hard-working Americans, who can’t make ends meet, and she wants to improve the quality of life of people who are breaking American Law.  Notice her goal is to equalizing income in our country, so by looking at these quotes, she thinks a doctor should make the same as an unemployed minority.  I’m not twisting this, that is what she said, and by restricting money the rich can invest means far less money circulating through our economy.  We don’t want this money sitting in off-shore accounts, we want it in our damn economy.  What friggin idiot, go to China, at least there your views will fit.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Barack Obama has been quoted many times saying:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;“No American should be poor.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;According to his proposals by this he means that all Americans should be poor.  Being an American doesn’t mean that you should be rich, it isn’t an entitlement.  You can’t take money from Middle and High-income families and give it to the poor.  Again we face a Red view, this isn’t a Democratic view, Democrats want to increase the well-being of Middle-Income families because they are the ones who suffer the most.  The poor being talked about are quite simply the people who fail to work.  Obama wouldn’t even fit in China so I don’t know where he should go.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hillary’s proposed “Socialized” healthcare system doesn’t even require explanation.  She has made her point quite clear, calling for government intervention by restricting the industry limiting fees, prices, and salaries.  Quite simply, she is trying to equalize the entire healthcare system so that regardless of how much better of a doctor you might be than the average, you get paid the same rate. In Kennedy’s Inaugural address, he made the ambitious pledge to “pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and success of liberty.” This doesn’t say anything about “when it’s conveinient” to do so.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is time for Democrats to get back to being Democrats and stop leading their party to Communist policies. Both videos should move any proud American to send chills up their spine. I like these videos, they show us what many fail to see, that our country will always change faces by the politicians we place in our government driven by their own agendas. The time will soon be upon us when we will have to take our country back from Immorality, Injustice, Taxation, and Infringement upon Constitutional Liberties.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Being a member of a free country does not mean that people should force others to abide by their way of thinking. Many people joke of the Jehovah’s Witnesses that show up at their door and hand them a pamphlet, but thankfully they just leave and don’t stay until they convert you, because they aren’t Democrats. We can’t force everyone to follow one person’s way of life. Each person should have the right to choose his or her own path. We are not all made from the same mold, of the same culture, and certainly not the same frame of mind, and therefore, we cannot restrict the rights of the people who don’t fit one ignorant mold. If you’ve walked down the busy streets of any major U.S. city, you’re accustomed to the old crusty homeless person who smells of raw sewage and alcohol. In many of the smaller cities you’ll most likely be approached by a woman with two or three pitiful looking children asking for money to buy food. For those brave enough to venture into East Los Angeles, you’ve probably been approached by someone with a mouth full of gold and a gun politely requesting all of your valuables.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Many people would say the most dangerous of these circumstances is the gang member in L.A., but he’s just trying to make an honest living and support the 800 greedy mouths back at “the casa.” What people fail to realize, is most insane homeless guys are actually ex-ninjas who suffer from the effects of a betrayal to the ninja code of secrecy and could kill a person without any visible movement. It’s real man, and without a doubt, scary. Think about it! Prove me wrong, I dare you!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Many of us just hand out a few bucks to these people so we can walk away with a bit more bounce in our step at the idea of being more generous than most. The responsible among us will offer to buy them a meal with no price tag, only to have it firmly rejected with a verbal outburst of obscenities capable of causing the Pope to burst into flames. Why the hostilities? It could be because they don’t want the money for food, buy maybe something else, and that’s why you should never just hand over money, but offer to buy what they need yourself. Quite simply, you watch your money spent because it’s the only way to know what it is being used for.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I’m not going to deny that some people consider me to be a jerk, it’s what I aspire to be, but why don’t we always follow the concept of watching our money spent? I recognize there are people in our country who fall on hard time and need a little help to recover, but why is our recovery program drastically increasing in the number of people in distress. Our government has a welfare program designed to help people that find themselves in a bit of a rut but not designed to get them out of that very same rut. Let’s hope most of the people relying on government aid are honestly troubled and not just lazy junkies who abuse their kids, because otherwise we can thank the Federal Government for enabling a useless culture with hard-earned tax dollars. We do know that some people sell their food stamps for drugs and alcohol, it’s undeniable, as is the fact that once people enter these aid programs it is rare to see them come off.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our programs require a makeover that will allow hard-working taxpayers to see exactly where their money is going. Rules should be emplaced to prevent abuse and effective employment programs need to be developed ensuring that dependency isn’t the outcome of “temporary” aid. It’s always fun to drive by the local government housing complexes because the parking lot is full of new and expensive cars and people walking around bearing jewelry worth more than my SUV.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These programs abused by many were created with good intentions, of that I have no doubts, but a blind Catholic priest could see they are more vulnerable to abuse than a fresh young altar boy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Efforts should be made to ensure the benefits of these programs are received by the intended people and not sold or bartered away. Since we’re in the business of spending, why don’t we require an eye or thumb scan to verify proper ownership of food stamps. Better yet, we could use DNA readers, just place a few drops of blood on the reader and once the machine confirms your identity, you can purchase items with your stamps. In a way, we’d be bleeding the to death much the same as they are to our wallets. Yeah, these things would be expensive to emplace but they would prevent the billions of dollars worth of fraud committed each year.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I’m just throwing out ideas that seem more reasonable than what we do currently so don’t get all pissy with me. If you’re on the Left, how do you propose to cut down of fraud?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Regarding the government housing issue, I’ve an excellent idea requiring something in return. Since most government housing is given to single mothers who rarely ever work because of all the love they must be giving their children, we should require good grades from these very same children. If we aren’t going to place appropriate restrictions on these people requiring them to become self-reliant, then they should give something useful to society, in this case, a smart child. If they aren’t working 40 hours “every” week, then that must mean they are nurturing their children and placing an emphasis on education.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Look, I just want to know that money from hard-working citizens is being used to produce something beneficial, and not just seven more junkies to litter the streets and commit crimes. We can be generous and smart at the same time rather than thinking we’re generous but actually just blind and stupid. Having a heart doesn’t necessarily mean not having a brain, using both would benefit all Americans and free up large chunks of money that could go back to the taxpayers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now that I think about it, maybe we shouldn’t reform our programs. It might be best if we feed all welfare recipients to our wildlife that nature nuts are so concerned about. So many animals die each year because of famine and inadequate food supplies and this concept could prevent much “senseless” death. It could be effective for so many reasons, it decreases taxes, controls human population, allows for government housing to be converted into nice condos, improves the quality of animals available to hunt, and prevents people from having their hand out. I’m brilliant, I just solved so many problems with one simple solution. Think about how much food we could conserve, meaning lower prices. What matters is that the United States of America sent her military forces to do battle, and soldiers died.  It is far to late to talk about not committing to victory, our fallen soldiers deserve that much at least, even if you don’t support the war yourself.&lt;br /&gt;           &lt;br /&gt;Some soldiers who have served in this dangerous escapade have done so against their better judgment and wishes.  Many others have sacrificed in the name of Freedom and participated in the greatest cause they shall ever know, and we owe them all our unwavering support through to the end.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To all of the left-wing cowards I simply ask this, what have you done for your country to deserve the right to freedom of speech to protest against Iraqi freedom?  If you are one of the common, self-involved, opinion forcing, and unpatriotic Left, you haven’t sacrificed a damn thing for my beloved country and certainly don’t know the true luxury of your freedoms.  If you oppose the war and have served your country proudly, then you have undoubtedly earned your right to protest, and should certainly do so at will.  Having been to Iraq twice myself, I know that many who have served oppose the war but still distinguish themselves as committed to the cause. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;An honorable person knows that there is no such thing as free freedom, and the country leading the pack in the way of Democracy will make many sacrifices. Democrats will handily argue “our founding fathers had no clue technology and society would lead to our current state, they didn’t see this coming.”  Come on you stupid Republicans, expecting to have rights, there was no such thing as crime when our country was formed, duh.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Look, the argument is simple without mention of an individual’s rights, crime has soared since the ban on handguns in Washington DC, it didn’t work!  That’s all that matters.  I don’t care if they all kill one another, that’s just less Democrats to bother with infringing on the majority of Americans liberties to please the few.  If these Nutjobs reacted with commonsense, they would just look at &lt;a href="http://www.geoffmetcalf.com/aus.html"&gt;Australia’s results &lt;/a&gt;after its firearm ban was passed and all honest citizens turned in their guns leaving criminals with fire superiority.  We have all the proof we need to defeat left-wing exaggerated efforts to overreact. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My concern is simple; Democrats are trying to limit “my” liberties because “they” don’t wish to own a firearm.  You don’t see me forcing my view on them; buy a gun, buy a gun, all Americans should be required to own a gun!  Yeah, that’s what I thought.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I guess to ease the unrest, we should recognize that at least we won’t have any difficulty when we form and retake our country and individual liberties. There is one issue I feel compelled to mention because of the smoke screen surrounding it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When the campaigning in Ohio increased prior to Super Tuesday II, both Senators Obama and Clinton attacked President Bush and blamed him for the current poor state of Ohio.  Bush was blamed for supporting NAFTA, set up by Bill Clinton, which was accused of being the reason for the loss of thousands of manufacturing jobs during the Bush administration. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The issues not mentioned are vital in determining the truth.  Democrats run Ohio, who support corrupt Union activity, and throughout the reign of President Bush they have raised taxes drastically and minimized the benefit of the Bush Tax Cuts.  It wasn’t President Bush who raised Ohio state taxes making them the fourth highest taxed state in the nation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These jobs that no longer exist are created by companies looking to gain a profit, hate them if you will but profit is the name of the game.  Thanks to Ohio Democrats, these companies are losing the game.  NAFTA and the President aren’t to blame, all of these employers have fled to Canada or other states offering a much lower tax rate in an effort to make larger profits.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This tax hike and loss of jobs happens every time Democrats overwhelm state governments.  Raising taxes only hurts the state economy and pushes hard working tax payers into unemployment lines.  How many Republican run state struggle in this manner?  Most of these fleeing jobs move to Republican states, so when Democrat states suffer, the South thrives. While campaigning, their promises included to decrease spending, reduce the national deficit, and represent the lower and middle-income families.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Prior to the election, the United States economy was at an all time high with a historically low unemployment rate and a large increase in small business owners.  People were investing money, spending money, and the housing market was progressing faster than ever with a republican President and Congress.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now, two years after the Democrat takeover we have a drastically increased federal budget, the housing market is falling, the stock market is unreliable, the price of oil is unaffordable, and the unemployment rate is climbing.  We also have two democratic Presidential candidates, relying on Americans gullibility, proclaiming President Bush to be the cause of all of these disasters.  If you buy into it, without checking the facts, you’re an idiot!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Senator Obama has been on the campaign trail delivering his consistent load of rhetoric without any details, talking about all of the subsidies he plans to provide to Americans if he’s elected.  The first question that comes to mind, for a person with the ability to think independently, is how will all of these be paid for?  His answer has been by taxing the upper 25% income bracket.  Sounds good to me, the $4,000 subsidy for “all” students, increased healthcare subsidies, and an enormous raise in subsidies to the poor, and all other 188 plans Obama has proposed will all be paid for.  I’m convinced, and it was such an easy fix, why didn’t someone think of this before?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Unfortunate for Senator Obama, Senator Spend-O-Rama, I’ve been enjoying my days by watching C-SPAN and the republicans in Congress have let the cat out of the bag.  Of a hundred or so of Obama’s proposals will total roughly $1.4 trillion dollars over five years and the proposed tax hike will generate $256 billion over the same time period.  Senator Obama does have a college degree so his educated math skill must be better than mine, because I don’t think the taxes will pay for his proposals, or come anywhere close.  This could mean one of two things, either Obama is just deceiving the American people by telling them what they want to hear, or he intends to continue the Democrat policy of spend, spend, spend until we, as a country, are bought out by Mexico.  It is up to you if you want to believe empty rhetoric that could never be implemented financially or demand the truth.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For those Obama supporters who may feel betrayed by these facts, you shouldn’t be as upset as the Senator Clinton supporters.  It appears that Senator Clinton is on a mission to not only bankrupt the American citizens, but also the rest of the world.  It doesn’t even require 100 of her programs to match Obama’s spending proposals, with socialized healthcare, increasing unnecessary government jobs the American people don’t want, Fuel reimbursement subsidies to pay for gas, and her generous offer to pay off the mortgages of the small percentage of Americans who have irresponsibly entered into a financial contract they can’t afford. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All of these proposals by the two democratic candidates are quire clearly rhetoric and there is unlikely any real intentions behind them.  Some of the programs may actually be implemented by the affect they will have on people is far different than what is being envisioned by the American constituents.  Democrats are well known for their spend, spend, spend policy so I’m sure both candidates will stick to that but many of their ideas expressed on the campaign trail have only been spoken in an attempt to generate votes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Republicans and the President did lean far from their “limit spending” policies over the years prior to the 2006 elections, one major reason why so many seats were lost to Al-Qaeda, I mean Democrats.  The Dems were able to project the image that the GOP were irresponsibly spending money, hard earned by the tax payers, but in reality, that’s what Democrats do.  They showed wonderful pictures and graphs representing this irresponsible spending since Bush has taken office and hope you won’t be able to figure out that 9/11 happened and the costs needed to recover while increasing national defenses to provide all Americans safety.  Instead, they would have you think the money was wasted on pointless programs restricting an individual’s liberties, sorry, that’s what the Dems do.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, back to expand on the Democrats spend, spend, spend policy, regardless of the promises to balance the budget and decrease the deficit, the proposed FY 2009 Federal Budget will set a record as the largest budget in world history.    They have taken the President’s budget and raised it by a bunch of billions, which is undoubtedly proof of their penis envy, and still managed to decrease veteran spending by a billion dollars and not provide any reform to existing policies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With a record breaking budget proposal, there is no entitlement reform calling for increased efficiency and minimizing the continued fraud costing Americans hundreds of billions of dollars that Congress can’t get back.  The words of the Republican representative from Wisconsin, Paul Ryan, rang true to anyone listening when he said “With such a large increase in budget and no calls for reform tells the American tax payers that you think you are doing such a good job at spending their hard earned money that you gave yourself a raise!”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Democrats stood their ground firmly and explained the success of their budget is that by 2012 the budget would be balanced, without raising taxes.  What they actually mean by this, is they will let the Bush tax cuts expire and it’s not the same as a tax increase, and then they will raise the taxes of the wealthy in some cases up to 49%.  Can you imagine making any amount of income, regardless how large or small, and have the Federal government take almost half.  Please remember, that doesn’t include state taxes.  What this means is that a family makes $250,001 a year could end up only making $100,000 a year or less after both state and Federal taxes.  Well that seems fair, and forget about them paying for any student loans or bills generated as a requirement to their road to financial success.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The truth is obvious to anyone willing to open their eyes.  The Democrats were elected to reduce spending and haven’t, reduce the deficit which won’t happen, and 99% of what they were elected for was built on lies.  They are now looking to win the White House on the same false promises and continue to blame President Bush for an economical disaster that didn’t develop until two years after the Democrats took control of the Congress.  Both Senator Obama and Clinton know how Congress works, and they should be very well educated in the fact that Congress controls spending and the President only approves it.  They know because their budget from FY 2008 was the record holder until the release of the FY 2009 budget.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you feel comfortable with the idea of having no government programs twelve years from now other than entitlement programs, meaning no research, no military, no education system, then keep supporting your beloved Democrats.  These beloved Democrats who are in bed with the thousands of special interest groups and profit from all of the corrupt Unions throughout the country.  It’s fine to be unprejudiced against minorities, but to pass legislature giving them the upper hand on the average American is unconstitutional.  Somehow the Dems have convinced union workers that they are on their side but in truth, they profit from them.  If they supported them, they why did Dems pass legislature resulting in the removal of the right of employees to a “secret” vote on whether they wanted to be represented by a union or not.  With the loss of this right, innocent workers are being harassed and families threatened when people vote against union representation.  Does this seem fair to you?  Why would Democrats take away an individual’s right to a secret vote, just like all other elections, if they were looking at the interests of the worker?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are obviously many reasons why I despise Democrat views, but the one that sends me over the edge is their constant vigilance against oil companies.  There are hundreds of “Green” special interest groups in their pockets and they keep pushing to stop using oil.  It’s a great idea, but in order to come off of oil, you must have an adequate and cheap replacement ready for sale on the shelves at your local Home Depot.  You can’t allow prices to continue driving up and say we need to stop using, without the replacement tried and proven.  We need to drill American oil reserves and continue to invest in new technologies, which should provide us drastic wallet relief.  You can’t just let prices soar and tell Americans not to use oil as an adequate response, that isn’t fixing anything.&lt;br /&gt; Anyway, if you love the horrible work of your Democrats then keep voting for them. Each of these challenges have been faced proudly by American citizens and dealt with handily. American citizens have proven to be resilient survivors against the treacherous rule of the English crown, the fear of Fascism terrorizing the world, and even the powerful threat of Communism that held the ability to destroy the American lifestyle. Today we face the challenge of combating terrorism from all around the globe but have a more disturbing and uncontrolled challenge within our own borders, deep within the mindset of Americans themselves. This mindset supports an undeserved sense of entitlement, encouragement of weakness without the promotion of strength, and the limiting of an individual’s acceptance for responsibility of their own actions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To our own citizens, we should provide as we always have, opportunity, not this continuing sense of entitlement spreading at the hand of those pretending to be more compassionate of minorities and people who are “different,” all in the name of generating votes and power. An “individual” shouldn’t be entitled to anything in this country other than opportunity on the basis of freedom, which should not be viewed as a right but more as a luxury since so many in the world are without it. We have the opportunity and freedom to succeed or fail, to try or not, and even do right or do wrong. Freedom, that abused concept, lost its true meaning long ago, and the people currently suffering from it are the honest, hard-working, loyal, and stubborn Americans who believe the only way to succeed in life is to be trustworthy and dependable always, even at the cost of being forsaken.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In today’s job market, any employer will stand and testify to the drastic decrease in the reliability of the average employee in America. The disgruntled and lazy group has been replacing many of the remaining hard workers. Many Americans are more worried about how long of a lunch break they get and how often they are afforded the opportunity to gossip and complain on their employer’s buck, rather than being concerned with ways in which they could strengthen or better the workplace they attend daily. Any manager will admit that over ninety percent of their time is spent dealing with problems developed from problematic employees rather than issuing adequate attention and incentives to their hardworking few. There are many possible causes for this growing unreliable workforce, one being the federal intervention restricting employers the ability, or freedom, to hire and fire as necessary.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As an American, all you deserve is opportunity, nothing more. There are too many individuals concerned with reaping large benefits from doing little or nothing at all. This country “should” be built on the concept of “if you want something, work hard for it.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another concern of mine is we live in a society focusing on the “weak” rather than encouraging people to be strong. Daily, we bend over backwards for people who are unable to or won’t do what it takes to become successful. Businesses thrive off of competition which challenges them to provide a more demanded product, employees work hard towards a promotion on reliability and efficiency, even little league baseball teams work hard to be the very best so they can stand above the competition. What is our society’s answer to these successes? Businesses are provided subsidies that virtually match their competitor’s superior profits, unions or like programs are created in an effort to define a workforce where merit is based off employment time rather than hard work and reliability, and baseball teams are better funded and given a larger coaching staff than the previous year’s victor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I can safely say that if we continue to promote and encourage weakness, our culture will fade away and the enemies of democracy will prove successful. Many people object to the idea that teachers and schools should receive annual incentives for providing the highest test scores in the country, of the belief that these incentives should be spent within the school districts where test scores are the lowest. What message does this send to schools, teachers, and students? What happened to challenging people to be better? What is the motivation for teachers and students to work harder for a new library or gymnasium? If they want to get their new facilities in today’s society, they need to provide the lowest scores in the country. Keep that in mind as you put your kids on the school bus in the morning.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our encouragement of this principle, “weakness is ok,” isn’t contained to just the individual level, it is extended to state governments as well. It is the duty of state governors and legislatures to run their government independently from the federal government. The decisions they make each day affect their residents and poor decisions hurt their residents. If a state raises taxes and passes legislature that makes it difficult for manufacturing and industrial jobs to operate, and thousands of jobs flee to a reasonable state leaving many unemployed, the state isn’t held responsible. When a state is unable to provide jobs, education, and healthcare to its residents, the federal government is always there to provide aid. When a state achieves historical levels of success in areas like low unemployment, high average income, excellent student test scores, or any other factors to prove the success of governors and legislators, they receive no attention.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If a state’s elected government makes bad decisions that directly affect their constituents, the people should feel the consequences and burden for voting the wrong people to office. In many states, the residents don’t know the truth about how their state is being funded and is operating on policies making them entirely reliant on the federal government. Our state governments should be held responsible and forced to independently sustain their state needs provided the absence of national disasters or emergency conditions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the past, America’s ability to take responsibility for its failings has been the source of pride and distinction throughout the world. No individual, family, group, state, or country is without error and should therefore accept the responsibility for their actions. Today’s mindset instead excuses everyone from the obligation of responsibility by forcing blame on others, gun violence is charged to gun manufacturers not criminals, individuals who have their homes foreclosed upon blame financers, and parents blame the education system for failing rather than the students whose number one priority is playing video games or the government for restricting teachers and limiting creativity. The truth of the matter is that people are going to commit crimes with or without legal gun purchases, individuals who irresponsibly enter into a financial contract they can’t pay for should lose their homes, and no matter how good the education system might ever be, without parents implementing a strong focus on education within the household and the government allowing teachers to inspire knowledge the system will fail. The simplest way to combat this problem is for everyone to accept responsibility for their actions, learn from their mistakes, share those mistakes with others, and more importantly, for the government to stop restricting an individuals potential and creativity.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is unclear when or why this mindset began to develop within the borders of our great nation, but starting immediately, efforts need to be made towards its reversal. If America cannot once again develop strong, responsible, and hard working individuals all throughout the country, then we shall never prosper and be afforded the opportunity to chase down our own “American Dream.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Throughout the history of our great nation, our citizens have joined together to battle enemies spreading mayhem around the world. Our country found its birth because our “Founding Fathers” stood together to oppose a government that was destroying their spirit with over taxation and denying them the right to freedom.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nazi Germany might have conquered the globe had our soldiers and citizens not united against them while simultaneously battling Imperial Japan. The country united, not just the American fighting force, and proudly worked together to defeat the common enemy. With Fascism beaten backwards, our new enemy on the horizon clearly defined itself as Communism. When we dispatched soldiers into Vietnam to fight this enemy, the soldiers fought and died but the country never united behind them. Instead, many took the opportunity to practice their freedom of speech and protested against the war, which undoubtedly caused the United States of America to display its first sign of weakness. Communism did however, provide us inspiration to compete and challenge causing Americans to invent, create, and perform as never before resulting in placing a man on the moon. Our citizens still carried a great deal of pride for their country.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After witnessing the overwhelming success of the Gulf War, many believed our time of weakness and retreat was over. The might of our fighting force easily prevailed over the fourth largest military in the world with limited hardships.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Weakness has been once again shown at the resistance of our newest formal enemy, terrorism. This new enemy despises Democracy and will do anything to destroy it in an attempt to preserve a more inhumane culture. Our citizens are being manipulated by our own citizens and therefore, the possibility of everyone uniting behind our fighting force is impossible. We have lost the ability to unite, but we must once again dig deep and learn to return freedom to is place at the top of our priorities. No individual citizen, or their needs, should be placed above the success of our nation, at home or abroad.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is time to fix this country now, or failure is sure to destroy our great nation. Many of the people who corrupted the efforts to battle Communism in Vietnam are the very same people standing out against our efforts to combat terrorism. Can you see a problem with this? Could it be that the people who’s protests resulted in our defeat in Vietnam will cause yet another defeat? If such is the case, the defeat will end up on American soil.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is time for this sickness to be expelled from the Soul of America. We have to once again learn to unite as a country in the efforts to defeat our enemies. There are many people out there lost and in need of direction, and in many cases looking for a leader bearing his testosterone openly above his lip. This display and commitment to power is not easily maintained, requiring constant lack of temper control, obscene gestures, endless womanizing campaigns, and much, much more.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There have been many leaders of the movement over time deserving credit for the long-lasting impression the mustached community continues to make daily, but I would like to honor two who have stood out and influenced me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5175541078100705218" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_ihfyT7B8V60/R9M3MHiif8I/AAAAAAAAAAg/jhS21Ltyp5s/s320/3434280.jpg" border="0" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Burt Reynolds has attained a very powerful position within the community as a strong, comical individual with the ability to seal the deal in the face of controversy. He was made famous as the criminal running from the law with little care for consequence and a strong ability to discredit women all while getting them horizontal. There aren’t many today with the skills and prominence of this man. Thanks Burt.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5175541370158481362" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_ihfyT7B8V60/R9M3dHiif9I/AAAAAAAAAAo/YT9OUVUoAYI/s320/Dale-Earnhardt-c06.jpg" border="0" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dale Earnhardt Sr. was a member of our esteemed community for many years, and as seen above, Dale Jr. idolized him so much he tried to display his own manly image. Unfortunately for Jr., it takes more than just the hair to become a member, it also takes long-lasting actions that have an continued impact on society. Senior is credited with being one of the roughest, toughest, and most dangerous bastards on an and off the race track. A person could say that NASCAR was put on the map because of his reckless efforts to always be first. He was a man of many women and had a following of hundreds of thousands before his death. Thank you Senior, and keep trying Junior.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are many benefits to being a member of the well-established moustache community such as, moustache rides, the trapped flavor of coffee on your lip eight hour after your last cup, prominent appearance, and fear from the clean-shaven community. What you may not know about the moustache community is that sometimes it is just down right hard to sustain membership. The furry caterpillar on the lip may make most women want to instantly rip off their clothes but let me tell you, it can get aggravating when you always have the feeling of something crawling up your nose due to the need of a moustache trim. The pleasures of this wonderful display are instantly erased after licking your lips and having your tongue pierced by the recently trimmed dagger-like hairs. By being a moustache bearer, a member is also removed from so many privileges within American society, for instance, a member cannot be cast in any of the 500 wannabe hit teen dramas on television with thirty year olds pretending to be in high school (I understand some aren’t pretending).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I’m not trying to discourage anyone from joining this esteemed group within the community, it’s just not all cookies and milk. If you are planning to join, I must encourage you to do so quickly since your actual manhood development won’t begin until after the moustache is fully grown, and then you work to become an “Actual” man. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I can only imagine what John McCain would be like if he took that extra step and became a member.  Due to age, his sex appeal will still be minimal, but he already has the uncontrollable temper. It was only a matter of time before people started to open their eyes to the realization that they are being told strictly what they want to hear.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Barack Obama has made many speeches, as everyone is quite aware, where he is saying all of the right things. He has preached about unifying the nation, bringing both Democrats and Republicans together, and implementing “change” for all Americans. This is a nice plan to present as long as he has shown the ability to reach across the isle throughout his time in the Senate, but this hasn’t happened. He can try all he wants to get Republicans to see things his way, the truth however, is no self-respecting Republican is going to follow such a far-left Democrat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Recently, in the battle for Ohio, Obama has trashed NAFTA and blamed it for the loss of so many American jobs. He preached firmly on the position of revamping the agreement and bringing jobs back to the US. Shortly after his strict stand against NAFTA, Obama is amazingly talking to Canadian officials saying “all of this is just Rhetoric.” His entire campaign is on rhetoric, and to be quite honest, any one of the candidates could be saying exactly the same things as him and still not be talking about “real” policies. People are hurting with increased individual debt and struggling to pay their bills, No kidding, that has been the case since our country was created. People want change, a different kind of Washington politics, no kidding, and he isn’t the one to do that. We need better care for our veterans, come on, any country could always take care of their veterans better. Like I said, anyone could use these same catch phrases.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My favorite Obama policy is to give all college students $4,000 a year just for attending school. If this isn’t an attempt to get young voters on his side then I don’t know what is. He hasn’t defined any requirements of these students who will receive this money, like mandatory attendance, GPA requirement, or anything. Yeah, going to college is expensive, that is why students should not waste their time while they attend. We already have a large number of students not taking school serious going on Daddy’s buck, why do we want to give them our tax-payer’s dollars. His policies are continuously bogus and his speeches make your toes tingle. Just remember, a child’s mouth might water at the sight of 800gallons of liquid milk chocolate, but once he’s thrown in, he wishes he’d never tasted it. (I can only imagine that some idiot Obama supporter will take this as a racial statement, keep it up, the scare of racism has been working well this campaign.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I love this video, and actually watched the debate live on TV and couldn’t believe it when he started going on about this “Army Captain” he met on the trail. It is hilarious to me with the idea of our soldiers using AK-47s because we don’t have enough ammo or weapons of our own. I served for ten years folks, that would never happen. This is the most outrageous batch of crap ever recorded, it even beats Fahrenheit 9/11. It was quite invigorating to listen to Mike Huckabee, he is truly an excellent speaker with a genuine in the United States and moral responsibility.  When McCain took the stand, his speech writers earned their money, he still did not move me personally and that requires work over the next few months.  Then Hillary Clinton takes the podium and talks about bringing the Ohio constituents what they deserve.  I find that statement to be quite shocking, with the increased sense of entitlement in our country.  Everyone seems to think they should be entitled to more than what they have but all I see is people not getting more because they either haven’t “Earned” it or because the government (democrat driven) has restricted them from easily attaining their dreams.  Nobody in this country “deserves” anything not complemented by work ethic and drive for success.  The government shouldn’t give anything except opportunity.  We are supposed to be residents of the land of opportunity, not entitlement.  We should all have the opportunity to attain or goals and dreams but nobody should deliver those to us, we should go after them with everything we have.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is just a quick note from me. The right and left are completely different in their approaches to most things in politics as well as their lives.  The left takes full responsibility to make every attempt to convert a right-winger to their cause.  If we don’t see the left perspective, we will soon receive a barrage of you’re an idiot,  a poor hater, and greedy snob.  The left is certainly full of emotion and dedication to ideas and fantasy, and has been, long before Barack Obama came into the picture. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The left puts pressure on the right in regard to the belief that the wealthy should pay more in taxes because they have no financial fears and the lower wealth bracket should pay nothing or little in an attempt to better lifestyles for families with less money.  They also believe we should raise taxes because Washington is more responsible with consumers money that consumers and you can read my other articles to get my take on that.  I personally get it, there is no reason why the wealthy shouldn’t pay a higher percentage in taxes, but, if taxes across the board were lowered evenly, the economy would soar.  That is fact, not emotion.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The left claims the right to be poor haters.  This belief derives from the right’s dislike of irresponsible programs created by the left to support lower to no-income families.  It is fine by me with these left folks wanting to give their own money directly to struggling families but don’t try to take mine.  On the right we “know” it would be to the best interest of these same families to develop programs to further education properly and assist them to no longer rely on these same programs.  A “Ten step process,” if you will, that calls for continued progress and good decisions, and once the process is over, there is no longer a need for assistance and these people could enter the middle income bracket.  The idea that creating programs not encouraging people to succeed has good moral value is asinine.  We need to change the current way of thinking, “It’s there so why not take it,” to “It’s there and it will help me to succeed.”  If everyone in this country is taxed to the point where everyone makes about the same income then why would the wealthy even bother being wealthy.  Let us all become mediocre with no drive to be the best.  How would you like that left side?  It would be perfect for you because you and your lack of commitment would soon become the norm.  What a lovely idea, don’t be a success Americans, and project the image to the world that all people should just be average.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The left has clearly made their point on the need to increase government control and this goes hand-in-hand in their tax beliefs.  They believe in government providing more jobs, health care, and the government having a say in virtually all areas of corporate America.  This is fine if you want to fall under the hand of Socialism, and many Americans like that idea, but me, I want to know that opportunities will be revealed to me through my hard work and dedication, not because I’m on a government list.  Just remember, all of these points of view are basically just telling every American, they know how to make decisions and run your personal life better than you do.  Why is it the majority of “successful” business owners in America are on the right side?  Oh yeah, go ahead and throw in you facts about all of Hollywood and other liberals who inherited their hard-working Republican parents money.  I know about Oprah, there is no need to bring her up but please keep in mind she makes virtually every dollar from lower wealth families.  Now what do you have to say?  She claims to be for the under-privileged people but that’s where she makes her money.  If she wants me to believe in her, she would have to stop charging all of her low-income followers for her services.  Look, “Business” owners who are more successful are Republican, people who manage money well and target their products productively.  Businesses need lower taxes and separation from government in order to succeed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So on the right side we just sit around and wait for the day when we finally come together and decide to disappear from the American political front.  It would be more fun than watching a Paris Hilton versus Barbara Streisand deathmatch.  Within a year Americans would come together realize their “everyone should be poor” ideals are wrong.  I’m just waiting for the day.  Be careful of the “Change” you are calling for, because to me the word “Change” isn’t something I look for.  What I would like to see is “Progress” because it is more definitive.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are many more view from the left I’m leaving out but I’m bored of writing this blog now.  You can keep on accusing us on the right to be racist even with the facts being contrary with the only presidents to favor minorities have been republicans.  Don’t forget about KKK members being leaders in the Democrat party. Democrats claim they don’t mind taxes as long as the money is going to good purposes.  What is wrong with you people?  Don’t you get it?  Every dollar collected from taxes never reaches the American economy.  Instead of you, the American consumer, spending money on products the Democrats take money from your paycheck and piss it away on frivolous programs that force dependency and hold the poor down.  When they take your money it removes the opportunity of you the consumer from being able to buy a shirt, book, or car, which means less business and less jobs.  This kills the economy.  If taxes were dropped from their current value and positioned at 5, 7, and 12 percent, the economy would sour.  When it comes to the economy flourishing, there is not such thing as irresponsible spending by the consumer.  You the American consumer can’t be wrong as long as you are spending money or making investments that make money.  It may be hard to conceive but with less money going directly to Washington, more money will end up getting to Washington and everyone wins, businesses, consumers, and the even more important “Blue collared” worker. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For an example of taxes killing an economy, use the state of Maine.  After a far left candidate being in office, the state is now $190 million dollars in debt.  Taxes are insane in the Maine so less money is being spent within the economy and unemployment rates are booming.  Almost all manufacturing jobs have left the state in search of lower taxes to allow for company expansion and better benefits for their employees.  The only way to reverse this horrible failing would be to drastically lower taxes to encourage businesses to come back and allow the Maine consumer to spend more money within their local economy.  It really is pretty cut and dry but it will take at least four years and much work before this $190 million deficit reverses. These experts seem to catch your attention quickly with all of their supposed facts and by the time they finish talking you find yourself picturing the day when everyone has to wear thong bikinis and spf 100 sunscreen. To put it straight, you scared out of your wits.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With this fear driving all of the “Green” nutjobs around the world, minimal progress has been made, if you ask me. The world is using more fossil fuels than ever before and those black-hearted manufacturers are polluting as fast as possible. This should mean rising temperatures and shorter winters. What the hell is really going on? Many states throughout the country have had snow dumped on them in amounts unseen for twenty years. Experts are now saying the ice depth on the polar caps is up twenty-five feet and growing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If all of this snow is causing your fear of global warming to diminish you should prepare yourself for bad news. The experts have said when global warming kicks in the next ice age will rise. I personally believe they are just covering both possibilities and don’t have a clue what they are talking about. Global warming was more than likely created in an attempt of some pig farmer trying to convert the United States to burning pig feces for fuel instead of oil. Is this true?  Do the tax cuts actually favor the wealthy?  What affect does high taxes have on the Blue Collar worker?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Bush tax cuts provide an even and fair reduction in tax to all taxpayers.  Each tax bracket received an adequate reduction allowing more money to be pocketed by American consumers and then spent within in the economy.  Since the passing of the Bush tax cuts, the American economy has reach an all time record high for a length of seven years.  Did the tax cuts succeed?  To most people it would be obvious, but many Democrats are in denial.  Of course, in my previous article I explained their deceptive attempts to blame President Bush for the imminent “recession” that we are soon to face.  But the truth is, the tax cuts did work and if Americans were to receive yet more cuts, the economy would skyrocket.  You may wonder how someone with limited education could claim to know the future if the tax cuts were furthered, but I assure you, it is obvious. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Every American, from the Corporation bosses all the way down to the hard working “Blue Collared” workers, dreads taxes.  Taxes have an enormous effect on everything our economy thrives on, even the stock market.  When a business begins, whether the little man with a dream or corporate marketers builds it, all money changing hands is taxed.  The materials purchased by the business, the product being sold, and wages are all taxed and whatever amount of money is left over goes to the business owners.  Within the stock market, all purchases and sales are taxed bringing down the actual value of the investment.  With all of these items being taxed, how does anyone make money?  This is a very good question and the number one reason why small businesses fail within two years of their development.  With high taxes, like today, most small businesses won’t survive and if they do manage to keep just a little taste of oxygen in their lungs, they can’t pay their employees what they would like to because they don’t earn enough profit to do so. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Corporate businesses can face much more than just the normal challenges small businesses face because they are much larger targets.  I will use General Motors as an example.  As we all know, they recently had their union employees strike in an attempt to receive better benefits.  I personally despise the idea of unions because they don’t allow business owners the right to hire and fire as the chose, but the aren’t the ones with the heavy bills on the line.  The union discussion will have to wait for another day.  Back on subject, GM was being taxed severely on every aspect of their business by the federal and state governments and paying for employee benefits and from what I understand, decent salaries.  When the union strikes and production stops the corporation begins to lose money by the minute, causing more damage, and quotas are obviously not being met.  I personally don’t know how the financing works within General Motors, but most companies have a certain amount of money they try to make for the sake of their investors and their employees.  When they settled with the union it wasn’t them submitting to the workers it was only a way to turn the production lines back on.  The employees benefited from the effort by getting better benefits but was it a success?  Would GM have given the benefits without question had the taxes been lower and profits higher?  I can’t answer that question but it is certainly possible.  So the union employees benefited but the American consumers did not.  GM is not going to lose a single penny over this incident, they can’t.  So they end up hiking up the prices of their product to cover the losses and eventually everything will sort out.  The same happens across the country, which is why the prices of products steadily increased.  Workers want more pay and benefits, the employer gives these wages and raises product prices, and in the end everything gets to be just too damn expensive.  For this reason, many jobs have left the United States and moved to countries where it is cheaper to operate.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I will ask you to keep in mind that frivolous lawsuits are also stealing money from hardworking employees.  With every lawsuit from the lazy worker comes less money to pay salaries to the hard working “Blue Collar” man or woman.  Oddly enough, most hard working individuals don’t even frown on their co-workers when they pull this crap because they can’t see how it affects their own job.  That is just something to think about.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So with all of that said in my uneducated way, what would happen if taxes were cut further?  First of all, the businesses would start generating more money because they wouldn’t be paying the taxes on the supplies they need or on the wages they pay.  Second, when the consumer walks in, the price is cheaper because they aren’t paying an arm and a leg in taxes.  This means the consumer will now have enough money to go next door and buy something else.  So it is a vicious circle, raising taxes equals the consumer suffering and minimum wage for workers, lower taxes and everyone benefits from the top down. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It all seems simple to me but I could be mistaken. Here is the final paragraph:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To get back on topic, I declare that Barack Obama is fear mongering when he tells the American people that we are headed into a recession caused by President Bush.  That’s right, he is fear mongering and pushing all blame on a member of the GOP.  He knows the American people will overlook one important fact; Congress approves spending and just so happened to be controlled by the Democrats.  I believe my accusation that Obama is fear mongering when he says “The United States is headed into a recession at the hand of the Bush administration.”  It’s more legitimate than any of his accusations of “Fear mongering.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now here is the fabulous email that I received today:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A little over one year ago:&lt;br /&gt;        1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;&lt;br /&gt;        2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;&lt;br /&gt;        3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we've seen:&lt;br /&gt;        1) Consumer confidence plummet;&lt;br /&gt;        2) the cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3 a gallon;&lt;br /&gt;        3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);&lt;br /&gt;        4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);&lt;br /&gt;        5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;&lt;br /&gt;        6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Of course the Democrats will continue to accuse President Bush and the GOP for the demise of the economy even though the only change in our plan of success was a Democrat controlled Congress.  Most of the people that actually believe these lies from the Democrats are the uneducated, which is most of their constituents, and the naïve.  I don’t know a whole lot about politics, but I learned in 9th grade, spending must be approved by Congress. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don’t believe that I need to explain things any further.  It is quite simple, the Democrats are knowingly lying to their uneducated constituents and blaming the GOP for something caused at the hands of the Democrats. The democrats of Washington have taken this opportunity to bash President Bush and the GOP continuously for waging an unnecessary war with more negatives than positives even though many of them agreed that Iraq was a dangerous threat that demanded attention before this war began.  Many believe that Iraq never possessed “Weapons of Mass Destruction” and that the only reason we attacked them was to get oil.  This is a great stand for many people who chose to ignore the clear and relevant facts that should be obvious.  Tell the families of the hundreds of thousands of dead Kurds that the poison gas used to kill their loved ones should not be considered a “Weapon of Mass Destruction,” just an accidental mixture and release of dangerous chemicals, “Ooops.”  On the claim that we only attacked for oil I say, “Good for us.”  The one thing that everyone in our country complains about daily is the ridiculous price of gas, so either stop complaining or join the cause!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have personally been to Iraq twice now and have seen the result of the very terrible enemy that we face who knows no conscious.  Our efforts have always been to improve the lives of the millions repressed by Saddam Hussein and develop an entitlement of freedom to a people who have never known it.  These same efforts have received continuous attacks by our enemies in an effortless attempt to destroy all chances of the Iraqi people to find and believe in hope.  For instance, we delivered humanitarian aid to deprived neighborhoods, like food, water, and clothing, only to have the enemy follow along behind us and set off bombs in the very same areas.  If that doesn’t ring clear then what about our developing areas by building schools, homes, and effective sewage draining systems only to have them blown to ruble within a month.  All of these incidents of horror end up on CNN as a negative image on the “War on Terror” and nobody within the media coverage bothers to explain that this is the enemy’s way of controlling the innocent Iraqi people with fear.  If the media did declare the truth, Barack would just accuse them of being “Fear Mongers.”  The Iraqi people have been controlled so tightly by this fear that they have refused much needed aid from us to prevent their families from being killed. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I feel obligated to point out that before the war began Iraq was considered a very wealthy country, while many of its citizens lived without food, water, clothing, and education mainly because of their religious beliefs.  Many of them, even today, walk along streets of raw sewage and eat rotten food while drinking water that smells worse than what lay on their city streets.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What many people fail to realize about our enemies is that they have no respect for life or liberty and no individual is off limits or “innocent.”  Many claim that we should pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan because we are just putting ourselves in a position to be attacked more frequently by being there.  News flash people, these enemies of ours HATE Democracy, and were able to reach out and touch us in New York City from Afghanistan.  Wait, forgive me, I mentioned 9/11, I must be fear mongering again by mentioning a very real incident that happened on American soil which one politician running for President would like us all to forget.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I’ll take the stand now with Obama and bring our troops home and use our money in an effective way to better the lives of many Americans.  What do we do then?  Should we invest all of this money into the welfare system that has failed so many individuals?  The same welfare system that causes dependency, mainly made up of those who chose to pursue other ambitions rather than an education.  Now correct me if I’m wrong, but the children of welfare dependent parents are entitled to a free education sponsored by the American Citizens as long as they can attain grades high enough to be accepted into a college.  So why don’t they?  Because we have a horrible education system, that’s why.  Great, so now we have removed responsibility from the individual and put it on the shoulders of the education system.  The teachers are to blame for a child not wanting to put forth the effort towards becoming smarter than hunk of granite.  Blame the teachers, not the parents who fail to emphasize the importance of an education and ensure their children get one.  Nobody is willing to take responsibility for their actions, what a great direction for society.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well, since it would be pointless to invest all of this money saved from the war on a useless welfare system, them where do we put it, the education system?  Sounds good to me, everyone talks about what a horrible system we have today, with so many students falling behind.  Have you ever wondered why they don’t mention all of the students that succeed?  Every single school in our country has at least one person who succeeds each year, but that must be a fluke.  Those individuals are smarter, right?  If our education system is broken, no student, other than those declared as natural geniuses, should be succeeding.  The reason why some succeed and such a large number fail could possible be the difference in priorities.  I personally didn’t care about school growing up, and never made it to college as a result, but many people in the very same classes with me have gone on to become very educated and wealthy.  Should I blame the system?  I don’t, because it was my choice not to read and do homework assigned, not the system’s.  It was me who failed in looking to the future, the system provided all of the tools I just didn’t use them. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, the welfare system and the education system have failed to attain all of these funds that would be saved from the “War on Terror,” the war that has replaced neglect with opportunity for so many, so where does the money go?  I know, health care!  The health care system needs more money in order to provide health care for more people.  In today’s American health care system we have people who chose health coverage for their entire families and pay out of their pocket, those who utilize government funded health care, and those who have no health care coverage at all.  For many of the individuals who pay for their own health care, there are charges for any arrival at a hospital emergency room for a non-emergency, so they make appointments instead with their health care provider.  For those who are on Federal health care, there are no limitations on emergency room visits, so hospitals run many expensive and unnecessary tests to determine that an individual has a sprained ankle or a cold.  Who pays for this?  That’s right the American taxpayers.  All of the individuals that don’t have any health care at all get a nice and heavy bill to pay shortly after their visit.  So where exactly are we going to invest money into this system?  Should we pay for more people to be irresponsible or should we invest money into systems that would put checks and balances into place to prevent misuse of the system?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Some of our money now has gone to paying for improvements to the health care system but where does the rest of the money go?  Here’s a suggestion, we could pay off all house mortgages for the individuals who can’t afford to pay it off themselves.  We can negate the fact that they signed the contract and irresponsibly entered into a financial agreement they could not afford, and just let the American taxpayers take care of it.  We really have created a system within our country that eliminates any sense of responsibility, haven’t we?  What a great society, I can do anything I want and blame the system for my actions and never have to actually take any responsibility.&lt;br /&gt;  &lt;br /&gt;Where does all of this money go then?  I have no idea.  What I do know, is the message we are being sent is that our freedom is more important than others around the world.  We should do what we can to assist other people to gain their freedom as long as it doesn’t cost us anything.  It is not the duty of free people to actively pursue the freedom of those who have never known it.  Instead of spending money in the name of justice we should waste it on the greedy and lazy of our own country.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have certainly strayed from the point of “Fear Mongering” haven’t I?  To get back on topic, I declare that Barack Obama is fear mongering when he tells the American people that we are headed into a recession caused by President Bush.  That’s right, he is fear mongering and pushing all blame on a member of the GOP.  He knows the American people will overlook one important fact; Congress approves spending and just so happened to be controlled by the Democrats.
