Ohio Must Suffer

I’m beginning to feel as though I’m beating a dead horse with all of my Democrat opposition but I’m not quite done. There is one issue I feel compelled to mention because of the smoke screen surrounding it.

When the campaigning in Ohio increased prior to Super Tuesday II, both Senators Obama and Clinton attacked President Bush and blamed him for the current poor state of Ohio. Bush was blamed for supporting NAFTA, set up by Bill Clinton, which was accused of being the reason for the loss of thousands of manufacturing jobs during the Bush administration.

The issues not mentioned are vital in determining the truth. Democrats run Ohio, who support corrupt Union activity, and throughout the reign of President Bush they have raised taxes drastically and minimized the benefit of the Bush Tax Cuts. It wasn’t President Bush who raised Ohio state taxes making them the fourth highest taxed state in the nation.

These jobs that no longer exist are created by companies looking to gain a profit, hate them if you will but profit is the name of the game. Thanks to Ohio Democrats, these companies are losing the game. NAFTA and the President aren’t to blame, all of these employers have fled to Canada or other states offering a much lower tax rate in an effort to make larger profits.

This tax hike and loss of jobs happens every time Democrats overwhelm state governments. Raising taxes only hurts the state economy and pushes hard working tax payers into unemployment lines. How many Republican run state struggle in this manner? Most of these fleeing jobs move to Republican states, so when Democrat states suffer, the South thrives. The South couldn’t defeat the North on the battlefield so many years ago, but through Conservative politics, they are the backbone of the Federal Government.
